As you all know, I bought a very flashy, very lovely new Nintendo 3DS a short while ago, and I absolutely love it. The 3D technology is great, and contrary to what lots of naysayers were naysaying, it works with my R4 3DS card perfectly and problem-free! I must be one of the lucky ones... I've been playing Zelda, Mario and Metal Gear Solid - although I've almost finished Zelda, and I'm really keen to find out if they will start making Pokemon games in 3D too, they really, really should in my humble opinion. I'm still playing games that aren't 3D, but I went to whole hog and bought the 3DS so they need to hurry up and make more 3D games! Although I still need to get the Pirates Of The Caribbean game, that's next on my list! Photo: EA SPORTS FIFA (Flickr)
With tuition fees set to skyrocket in 2012, why not consider a job that doesn't need a degree!? There are hundreds of professions that offer a hefty pay cheque, and all you need are college qualifications in the form of GCSE's and A Levels, and here are just a few ideas to get you started... (Photo by vancouverfilmschool on Flickr) Ever wanted to work in Aviation? A University degree in this can cost up to £50,000, but did you know that to be an Air Traffic Controller, all you need is to be aged between 18-30, have 5 GCSE's and 2 A Levels. Being an air traffic controller is a high pressure job, but the rewards are huge, with an annual wage of around £80K. Sounds pretty good if you ask me! Another option is firefighting or police work. Again, these are high pressure jobs but what you get out of them really is something special - saving lives. Personality, attitude, fitness and working well in a team are key aspects to this job, and the wages can vary between £20K and £40K. If you like sun, sea and surf then how about a job as a holiday rep? You will get to travel all over the world, meet new and exciting people every day, and get a great tan! Salaries vary, but who can put a price on having the time of your life!? Lastly, if your parents are nagging you to get off the playstation or xbox and do some work, then here's a ... I must say, I am a bit of a gadget geek. I don't delve right into the techy specifications side of things, but I love gadgets and finding cute or funny versions of otherwise boring objects.

There seems to be an amazing modified version of almost everything these days, gadgets, or otherwise. I recently saw travel coffee mugs shaped like SLR camera lenses that were really cool, and now I've seen quite possibly the best USB flash drive ever:

Sometimes the cool versions of techy items are lower grade for a higher price, in this case, probably a lower memory capacity, which is a bit lame. But then maybe I could have the cool camera USB drive for some of my documents, and then a larger memory boring one as well for all the rest, why not?

I treated my self to a Nintendo 3DS and I love it! I got an aqua blue one and have been on it non-stop!

My dad is also loving it and I have been giving him a little 3ds tutorial so he can play on it when I am not using it!
I have seen some reports that people have felt sick or got headaches using it, but me and my dad haven’t had that and also we can see the 3D part absolutely fine.
There is a little slider on the side of the console which you can adjust the intensity of the 3D, so on scary games I will be putting that down!
I bought mine for about £190 and my favourite game so far is Nintendogs+ which you look after a kitten or a puppy and because it is in 3D it looks amazing. They jump around and even try to lick you!
